Click above for photos of Plain Dealing Businesses Plain Dealing is a community of 1089 persons located in Bossier Parish, Louisiana in the Northwest corner of the state, only 25 miles North of the Shreveport-Bossier Metro area. The Plain Dealing Town Hall above houses the Fire Department, Water Department and other city offices and has a meeting room available to the community. The Public Library is the Rita Sanders Keoun branch and is housed in a new building which includes a history display with artifacts and photos. Eight computers have internet access. Library hours are 8:30-12:30, 1:30-5:30 on Monday through Friday and 8-Noon on Saturday. Childrens story hour is held on Wednesday mornings at 10AM. The industrial park includes a 20,000 sq. ft. building available for lease. The Plain Dealing Police and Bossier Parish Sheriff substation provide security for the community. The City park downtown offers a community gathering place and a location for community events.
